Nana Kofi Asihene is a Ghanaian creative polymath with over 20 years of experience in film, fashion, design, advertising, photography, music, and brand strategy. He has directed more than 100 music videos and several award-winning commercials, including work for global brands such as Guinness, Malta Guinness, Bosch, Vodafone, UNCDF, and the U.S. State Department. His IMDb credits include AAHI (Taboo), Dogs of War, and On the Road to Rio.
Beginning his creative journey in visual arts and fashion — where he won the International Young Fashion Entrepreneur Award (2008) and founded the Nana Asihene Design Studio — he later expanded into filmmaking and content production. A graduate of KNUST with an MBA from Accra Business School, he blends artistic expression with business strategy and cultural storytelling.
Asihene leads NKACC, a corporate facing production company & production fixers on the African continent, and Bravado, an original content collaborative. His work continues to shape Ghana’s creative landscape while mentoring and inspiring the next generation of industry talent.
He has developed a personal creative language rooted in the use of metaphoric relationships- using the little objects and situations in life to relate to the big pieces of life to bring a deeper understanding and spark inquest.
